2007 Child Support Convention - what it means for you

The UK has been bound by the 2007 Child Support Convention through its membership of the EU.

The Convention sought to establish a modern, efficient and accessible international system for the cross-border recovery of child support and other forms of family maintenance.

This new agreement ensures continuity in the application of the Convention after the transition period following Brexit.
