Nigel Clarke on BBC Radio Kent - On The Air With... (24/07/2019)
‘They Are My Children As Well, Why Can’t See Them?’
As the School Summer holidays are in full swing, difficult questions can arise on access to your children after relationship breakdown. This can be one of the most emotional of all family disputes. We looked at how to navigate any disagreements on the time children should spend with each parent: hearing the voice of the child and to prevent dispute and stress.
We are very excited to announce that once again Nigel was invited to the BBC Radio Kent Studios last week for: ‘On The Air … with Graham Jones’, which aims to focus on answering you legal questions. We explored some issues related to the pain of relationship breakdown, particularly how it affects children involved.
You can listen to the show for a limited time only on BBC SOUNDS at:

The theme on tonight’s show WAS ‘They Are My Children, Why Can’t I See Them?’ It’s all about separation and what rights you do and do not have. Graham was joined by mediators and family lawyers in the studio to answer any questions you have.
We looked at strategies to help, pitfalls and what to avoid; crucially what an experienced mediator can help us to achieve in shifting from blame and discord, to agreement and balance.
We welcomed calls from those affected by such issues as a child and any repercussions later in life; experiences of parents and extended family, including grandparents and success stories.
