Your help required! An urgent call for court users to give feedback on the impact of covid-19 on the legal justice system
The Civil Justice Council is conducting a review on the current court operations. They are particularly interested in gathering feedback from court users on how they feel about remote hearings.
In the space of a couple of months, unthinkable changes to day-to-day life have taken place due to Covid-19. Measures necessary to manage the pandemic have had considerable impact on the civil justice system. One change in particular has been the increase in remote hearings.
To ensure justice to all, The Civil Justice Council (CJC) is undertaking a rapid consultation to all court users.
They want to know views on these changes: opinions expressed will inform future guidance and identify areas where future work is needed. It will be instrumental in shaping the way justice is delivered in this country, including in family law courts.
This review will run for two weeks from Friday 1 May to Friday 15 May in order to report by 22 May 2020.
