Can children move between the homes of separated parents?

A new paper published by the House of Commons Library provides brief information in response to some key questions regarding the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak on separated families, maintenance arrangements and access to children.

Although legal advice should be sought in individual instances, the paper aims to address the following questions for divorced or separated parents:

1.) Can children move between the homes of separated parents? 2.) How should parents comply with a court-orders for contact? 3.) How are child maintenance payments impacted? 4.) Can I visit my child in care/residential home? 5.) My child contact centre is closed: What alternatives are being made? 6.) Where can I go for help and advice?
