Client confidentiality and data security

We respect our clients and honour the trust they place in handling their family law matters. As such we take great care to safeguard client data and have a robust data protection policy and risk assessment in place.

We provide all new and returning clients with a copy of our privacy policy and email consent form, which we ask you to read and sign electronically prior to working with us.

All law firms must have measures in place to keep client’s information confidential, it is required both by SRA (Solicitor’s Regulatory Authority) rules and the law. This remains the case throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Although our offices are closed to most visitors, safeguarding all your personal data is paramount to us and we continue to follow all controls.

Homeworking was already practice by us prior to the pandemic, so the shift has been noticeably easier. We hope this has translated to easier transition for clients to videoconferencing and Zoom, Skype or telephone appointments for mediation, arbitration or family law.
