Looking after your mental health during challenging times

Divorce, separation, bereavement, mediation, arbitration… All are stressful life events which cause us to reassess and question our place in the world.

We may question the meanings of things, what or who we live for, assess changing relationships to children or our previous partner. These issues can through up challenging feelings of sadness, regret, depression, worthlessness or disillusionment.

Making a will can also be a time for assessment of our lives so far: what we have achieved, what our life has meant, considering the fragility of life and also an opportunity for changing relationships to ourselves, others or to our pasts.

All this against a backdrop of a global pandemic! In these times it is more essential than ever to look after our psychological wellbeing.
