Private Law cases received by Cafcass up this September
Cafcass received 4,262 new private law cases ( 6,566 children) in September 2020.
New private law cases received by Cafcass in September 2020 were 14 per cent higher than the equivalent time period last year.
Private law applications are those made following a divorce or separation about the arrangements for children. This may include where a child will live or with whom a child will spend time (child arrangements).
