Barristers reporting concerns increases since Covid pandemic

A worrying upturn in numbers of barristers reporting concerns about bullying and harrassment during the pandemic is reported by the Law Gazette.

The Law Gazette article dated 19th February is accessible via this link.

Barristers can use an App named ‘Talk to Spot’ on smartphones. The idea is to create a safe place to report bullying, harassment or intimidatory behaviour anonymously.

Since Covid the app has been extended, giving barristers a space to report health and safety concerns. Problems reported included court safety and the impact of extended operating hours.
