'Gold standard' digital ID
The Law Gazette has reported on the use of ‘gold standard’ procedures for identifying clients remotely.
HM Land Registry has announced the procedures relating to verifying identities digitally. At first this will relate to conveyancing issues.
The new process is likely to form part of the government-wide digital identity scheme.
