Divorce law reform - Resolution comments
Resolution ‘takes issue with the contention that the reforms to the outdated divorce laws undermine marriage’.
Juliet Harvey, National chair of Resolution, commented on the Divorce Act and the impact to will have to separating couples and children.
“Indeed, for many separating couples, these reforms will remove the need for apportioning blame, thus minimising conflict and, crucially, reducing any negative impact of separation on any children. The Divorce Act will make the process kinder, rather than easier”.
Resolution are a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.
