The digital HMCTS system for family court cases
Recently, the HMCTS has launched an online system focussed on case management. We are now using this system as part of our daily work managing our cases.
MyHMCTS is an online case management tool for solicitors and other legal professionals managed by HM Courts and Tribunals (HMCTS). Hopefully this should help process cases in a more timely and efficient way.
The aim is to allow submission, payment for and managing online case applications in a timely way for the following areas of law:
1.) probate 2.) divorce 3.) financial remedy 4.) family public law order 5.) immigration and asylum appeals
In this new system, all solicitors have been working with HMCTS on the system together to get the best for clients and their families. Along with Resolution, a community of family justice professionals, we look to help the Court Service by identifying problems early, so helping clients and also reducing Family Court administrative delays.
