Advanced hybrid practice model - family alternative dispute resolution
We are accredited to provide the new service of advanced hybrid family mediation
See more on our pages on what Family Hybrid Mediation is at this link.
This way of working retains all existing fundamental principles of family mediation including joint meetings. However clients lawyers, where appointed, have a more direct and constructive role in the process. This means it can be more flexible and responsive to client’s needs, whilst giving client’s more power and say in what they want out of the process.
There is an option for family mediators to have separate, confidential meetings with each client. They can also be accompanied with their lawyers where appropriate.
This can help exploring financial/pension/child(ren) arrangements, planning how to look at concerns or issues, addressing concerns and formulating proposals and settlement terms.
The great advantage of this model is its flexibility: it is truly responsive to clients needs and puts you at the heart at the process, which can be empowering.
The model lends itself to remote meetings, meaning that videoconferencing appointments via Zoom, MS Teams or Skype.
